Printed on Epson Matte, Japanese Washi paper, and Book cloth, 4.5”x4.5”x1” open edition LOTUS HARBOUR is an origami-designed book, covered in Japanese Genji cloth.
The folds reflect traditional patterns from Edo craftsmen. These fine patterns represent the distinguishing tastes of Edo including stylishness, sophistication and refinement. “Just as a lotus blossom blooms from muddy water, so too does poetry out of times of destruction and fear”.
